January 7, 2003

Everyone at EDGE Science Fiction and Fantasy Publishing hopes that you had a wonderful holiday season.

As this is the beginning of our 5th year in publishing, we've decided to start a regular email newsletter.

This first edition will recap the last year and give you a brief overview of the year to come.

In 2002, EDGE Science Fiction and Fantasy Publishing produced an amazing novel titled "Lyskarion - The Song of the Wind" by J.A. Cullum. We also continued to promote and sell our first book, "The Black Chalice" by Marie Jakober.

"Lyskarion - The Song of the Wind" is a 6 x 9 trade paperback. "The Black Chalice" is a hardbound with an exquisite foil dust jacket (some people refer to it as sexy). Not withstanding the comments about the jacket, the novel is an award winner. The EDGE edition is sure to become a collector's item!

We were also delighted to be a part of ConVersion 19 / CanVention 22 on August 9-11, 2002. On the evening of the 10th EDGE held a book release party for a new novel, "Throne Price" by Lynda Williams and Alison Sinclair, Both authors were present to do readings and signings, as well as chat with the party goers about the novel. Marie Jakober was also in attendance that weekend, and all three women were members of various panels and discussion forums during the convention.

Lastly, EDGE Science Fiction and Fantasy Publishing is pleased to announce the North American release of "Throne Price" on March 15, 2003. Watch for reviews and, of course, email from us.

We would also like to pre-announce the release of two additional novels (available later this year): "Keaen" by Till Noever, and "Orbital Burn" by Adrian Bedford. We are very excited about these very diverse, very eclectic selections.

And remember, if there is information you require that you were unable to locate on the webpage, email us.
