Hi Lynda, I've just read Mekan'stan - it feels like I've read parts of it before, but I think that probably just means I am totally comfortable with the world you have created, the language, the expressions, the personalities. It is a lovely snippet, lots of action, great dialogue as usual, interesting predicaments and of course, features my two favourite characters (Ann and Amel).

In spite of what you said, I'm going to put it in the library. That way, if people read Throne Price they will have something else to read next. Eventually of course I picture shelves and shelves of Okal Rel literature!

Thanks for the copy. I did not find the typos distracting and there really are very few of them. BTW nice layout, good graphics, I like the two-column approach for something like this which has a lot of dialogue (avoids a string of one-line paragraphs of dialogue), feels like you're reading a news report at the same time, quite effective.

Keep doin'it. Let me pay for the printing of the next novella (in exchange for two copies). That way I'll feel like a true patron of the arts. Always wanted to call myself that!

Cheers
Kathy Plett
