Ev'rel is Liege Dem'Vrel and Avim during the events of the novel Throne
Price.

Ev'rel
Dem'Vrel
A great leader, twisted by conflicts she cannot resolve,
Ev'rel does great harm to those closest to her, but succeeds in her political
goals. Ruthless, but never wasteful, she forges the Knotted Strings into
a power fit to claim a hearth on Fountain Court and becomes liege of the
Avim's Oath.
Although she is intellectually flexible, Ev'rel attracts political conservatives
for the sake of her willingness to meet their needs in return for their
services. Success, for her, is power. But she also dabbles in the visual
arts and appreciates Amel's poetry and dance. During Mira's years with
her, Ev'rel learns medicine, which--like all her gifts--she uses for public
good and private ills.

HISTORY
 Alarmed
by the dwindling number of Purebloods within the Ava's Empire, Fountain
Court produced Ev'rel through a child contract between a Blue Demish father
and a Red Vrellish mother. Her mother died soon after, fighting Nesaks,
leaving her Vrellish mentorship in the hands of Di Mon, Liege of Monitum.
Di Mon perhaps expected too much of her due to her
direct descent,on her father's side, from Ameron. Their relationship was
complicated by her failure to meet his expectations of her as a Vrellish
woman. Spoiled by her father, Ev'rel was disinclined to engage in dangerous
and uncomfortable behaviors typical of Vrellish but not Demish females
- such as rel-skimming and learning the sword.
Ev'rel is 59% Vrellish, 35% Demish and 6% Lorel. Always
shrewd and intelligent, Ev'rel is an uncomfortable hybird: Demish in some
ways, Vrellish in others. Unable to fit comfortably in either culture.
All that is wrong in her finds its complement and
solice in Amel, the child she loved and lost then found again as a ex-courtesan
elevated suddenly to Pureblood status, and suffering from the after effects
of exposure to the Reetion Visitor Probe.
