Horth, Horth, Horth
Here's a story about Horth's button in the latest set. It's popular with a surprising cross-section of people. Which is a bit scary ... so I'd like to remind the initiated to point out Horth was talking about someone who'd done something really henious and trying to reassure the earnest young friend who had killed the demented criminal concerned. Just to give the comment some context. He's really a very honorable guy, even if he tends to reduce problems to sentences of less than 5 words. :-) > On Fri, 01 May 2009 11:19:09 -0700, Kathy Plett wrote: > They're really nice aren't they? Here's a shot of me at the EDGE booth, at VCON 33 in Vancouver this past weekend. I'm holding up one of 50 special pre-publication copies of Horth in Killing Reach by Craig H. Bowlsby, created just for VCON. The title is the first full novella by another author than myself to come out under my editorship in the Okal Rel Legacy line (see http://www.absolute-x-press.com/catalog/ for more about the legacy line). It will be available in perfect binding soon, through regular distribution channels as well as online in digital form from http://www.absolute-x-press.com. Cover Art for Horth Novella by Bowlsby
Messing around with photoshop, pictures and sketches by Richard Bartrop to find a cover for Craig Bowlsby's novella of Horth Nersal in Killing Reach serving in Liege Bryllit's fleet. Here's some eyes I think would do for Horth, slightly doctored in photoshop. Labels: Craig Bowlsby, Horth Nersal, Richard Bartrop Saturday, April 19, 2008
I am interviewed by Marie Bilodeau on this week's On the EDGE. There'll be more coming in the podcast realm from the ORU, so sign up to the EDGE podcast using your favorite podcast aggregator. In this interview I talk about the origins of Okal Rel in my disgust at the cold war mentality, the character Horth Nersal, and the theme of opportunism vs. integrity in Righteous Anger.
