Nominations open for 2010 Aurora Awards
Aurora Time Again! It's that time again: time to nominate works for the Prix Aurora Award, which you can do here:
The Aurora Awards are fan-voted awards for the best Canadian SF of the year. Any Canadian citizen or permanent Canadian resident can nominate works for free either electronically or by mail. It only takes a few minutes. The deadline for nominations is February 5, 2010. The Aurora Awards will be given out at KeyCon in Winnipeg in May. Working on details for the launch of Part 5: Far Arena and the Opus 3anthology. So far we have the following planned: "Lynda Williams and friends will have a friendly, drop-in launch for Part 5: Far Arena of the Okal Rel Saga and Opus 3, third anthology of stories set in the Okal Rel Universe edited by Jennifer Sparling, on July 2, 2009 at 6 p.m. All welcome to drop by, look at art show, mix and mingle in an informal atmosphere.
